Psychometry is a Clairsensory skill. It’s a way to read or feel the energy of an object. All objects have an energy around them. Psychometry is a means to tap into the artifact or history of an item or about the person who uses the item regularly.
Psychometry works best when the item is significant to someone. Significant items might include jewelry, pictures, stones, works of art, tools, and books. While I sometimes use this technique in my readings, I mostly use it in my personal life to help me make decisions or to confirm a hunch I have about something. For example, I've used pictures from the newspaper or business cards to help me decide whose vision is closest to mine or for completing the task or project that I’m working on.
Some objects, like metal and crystals, retain energy well, while porous objects like clothing, they lose their energy quickly. For clothing, the best retention happens with the sense is smell. Have you ever missed someone and borrowed their shirt or pillow, held it to your nose, and inhaled deeply? I've done it many times and instantly felt a connection to the person and felt less sad or lonely.
In some cultures, it is believed that pictures contain a piece of a person’s soul or essence. Pictures are great ways to get a sense about a person.
One advantage of using these skills is that they help you strengthen your intuitive skills in all areas of your life. Here are the exercises I created for my class that you can practice with…Practice as much as you can, but don’t forget to have fun with them!

Anyone can do these things by themselves, but sometimes we like to practice with others like us. I am running Awakening Your Intuition Through the Clairs 2 class at Aims on Wednesdays on the Loveland Campus from September 4th - October 9th on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30. I will also have a Beginning Mediumship class running on Saturday, November 2nd and 9th from 9-11 AM. In Greeley, I am rerunning the Awakening Your Intuition Through the Clairs 1 from October 16th - November 20th. I will also be at the Belu Olisa Fair on September 28 & 29, 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm both days.
I would love it if you would share the things that have worked for you, being supportive of each other, and cheering each other on. Note: The comments section is at the bottom of this page.
Until next time,
