It’s Always Darkest Before the Dawn.
Updated: 22 hours ago

I recently came across this quote that deeply resonated with me: “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness” —Desmond Tutu. With all that’s going on in the world- the wars and violence, Earth’s eruptions and storms, and the amount of hate that is spewed all over in person and on social media, I find myself exhausted and overwhelmed. I have to consciously remind myself it’s always darkest before the dawn.
There have been unexpected changes happening on the planet in the past few years, as we are in the midst of a major evolutionary shift on Earth. This change brings transformation and is similar to other times in the past, such as the period between the Renaissance and the Reformation Periods, and the Revolutionary War Period.
We will get through this, and it will change us and how we behave. The old system must fall for the new period to begin. The Universe has sent Earth millions of Lightworkers. We are the healers, artists, teachers, coaches, and mentors. Lightworkers chose to be here to help bring in these breakthroughs. We’re moving into a more egalitarian period.
It can be hard to be happy when there’s so much suffering. My Spirit Guide reminds me that joining in the suffering only leads to more suffering. When I allow myself to laugh, play, and enjoy my life, I can sit with those who are suffering without taking it on myself.
This isn’t about being happy about the suffering or dismissing it. It’s also not about judging those who cling to power and cause mass destruction. This is about shining our light.
“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” —Desmond Tutu
Ways you can protect and increase your light and energy:
Spend time doing things you love.
Spend time with friends and family.
Spend time laughing and playing.
Spend time in nature and in or around water.
Stay away from the news. It focuses on all the negative things going on around the world.
Stay away from social media. There’s so much hate there.
Be kind to yourself, rest if you need it, and show yourself some grace.
Anyone can do these things on their own, but sometimes we enjoy practicing with others like us.
