Embracing Change: How to Make the Most of a Year of Changes

If you feel like life has been rough recently with brain fog, exhaustion, miscommunication, and relationship issues, it may be because we are in a dual retrograde with Mercury (March 15- April 7) and Venus (March 2nd- April 13) between March 15 and April 7, 2025. (Retrograde is when the planets look like they are going backward in the sky.).  We are also in a 9-year, a year of endings, self-reflection, and getting rid of the things that no longer serve us.

What all of this means is that we are in for a very chaotic year.  For things to change or be reborn, things have to die or be transmuted.  Many of us light workers have been doing our work and letting go of things, beliefs, and people that no longer serve us, and we won’t be as affected by many of these “negative” changes.  Although some of the darkest places I have been, like getting divorced, have been my greatest blessings.  My belief system was forever changed, and I am better for it. 

Changes can be a good thing, too, leaving a job for a better one, getting married, moving into a new house, going back to school, starting a new business, getting promoted, or having a child.

For those of you who are in a place where you are on a precipice of change and not sure if you should maintain the status quo or make the leap, the Angels are telling me that you should lean into the side of change.  "Fear always shows up right before a leap. We often tend to stay in our current situation because we know all the positives and negatives.  It’s harder to make that leap of faith into the unknown, where all the what-ifs circle in our brains.  We also have a hard time seeing ourselves as something different than what we are now.  It’s not until you look back that you say, OMG, my life is so much better.  I can’t believe that I put up with X for so long or didn’t do this earlier. 

These changes are also pointing out how much Earth is out of balance.  You can see the evidence of that all over the world: extreme fires, floods, earthquakes, wars, extreme poverty, greed, and most disturbing of all is the hatred and anger. Since the 1840s (Remember when women fought for decades for the right to vote?), we have been moving out of a male-energy-dominated society to one that includes more feminine energy to become more balanced.  And just like in other chaotic times, the 1960s is another example, there are going to be growing pains.  Some people will readily make the changes, while others will dig their feet in and fight the changes with everything they've got, and that’s where much of the hate is coming from.  The status quo is no longer working for any of us.

Now is a good time to see the world as a more peaceful place, seeing the suffering ending, with more justice and equality for all.  It’s easier to see the world in a better place when we are in our spiritual flow.  Embrace the change!

2025 is also a 9-year, a year of completion, self-reflection, transitions, endings, and transformations.  (https://www.clairsensoryintuitives.com/post/decoding-the-numerology-of-2025-what-does-it-mean-to-be-a-9-year.)  This means out with the old ideas, beliefs, patterns, relationships, jobs, or living spaces that no longer serve you.  Clearing these will make room for new opportunities and beginnings.
